September, 2025

Welcome to my month in review. I hope you enjoy a peak into my life!

I can’t believe September is already gone! It feels like I just did this for august and now I’m doing it for September. But everything is looking a little more fallish now.

September has been a great month. The first weekend, I went with a group from my sister’s church to Chicago for street meetings. I’d never done anything like that before and didn’t really know what to expect. But I had a great time and hope I can do it again. Most of what we did was singing in a group on the sidewalk with several people going out to the street corners to pass out literature. My favorite part was passing out the 25 Bible story books to the little children! The smiles that they had were just the best. There were some children that weren’t allowed to take them, but the ones that did take them seemed thrilled. And I hope that they will read them and that these stories will make an impact on their lives. After we were done singing Friday evening, we went out to Solidarity Drive. It used to be an airport but now it’s a lovely place to walk or just sit after a long day. It has a great view of the city skyline and after dark it’s so pretty with all the lights on. We sat out there for a while and some took pictures, others walked and some just sat and watched the city and water. After such an intense day, it was the perfect way to inside before we went back to the hotel.

I did a family session for this lovely family from Kentucky. I knew one of the girls from Bible school and it was so fun getting to see her again. They are such a fun family and were great to work with! And the children all did so great, especially considering some of them were traveling the night before!

One day I took my grandma to Nashville to meet my uncle from Rutherford. She wanted to go out there for a few days, and it was fun getting to spend some time wither like that. We met in the McKay’s parking lot, which was very convenient. If you don’t know what McKay’s is, it’s a huge warehouse sized bookstore. So of course I went book shopping. And I did find some great ones.

My mom and I also went to my sister’s place for a few days. She was having her baby shower and mom and I wanted to be there for that. It was so much fun spending time with my sister again! When they live far away, it makes it that much better to see them! I needed something to do Wednesday night while my sister and brother-in-law were busy, so I drove around in the town of Wooster and took some pictures. It was so fun to take pictures again just for the sheer fun of it and in a new town!

September, you were a lot of fun, even though you felt busy at times! Here’s to a great October!
