     LaVern And Karen’s wedding day dawned sunny and warm. This wedding was so fun for me because Karen is the sister of the bride from the wedding that I photographed in April. I knew it would be fun to do a sibling’s wedding but I didn’t realize just how much fun it would be! I also knew some of LaVern’s family, and everything felt some familiar and comfortable.

     The colors Karen picked were perfect for summer, and they went so well with her flowers and decor. The sunflowers added such a summery feel to the day. We went to a sunflower farm for their portraits in the afternoon, and I had way too much fun there! That green house was awesome! The temperature was a very humid 91 in the afternoon, and felt much hotter than that! But they were such troopers and you would never know that it was so warm.

     LaVern and Karen, it was such a privilege to capture your special day! I wish you all the best as you start your life together, and I hope Alaska is amazing!
