Since you asked, yes! I’m a procrastinator! Sometimes one of the best! (or would that be worst????) So here goes, month in review for November and December.
November started out with a youth group trip to the Smokies to go hiking. It was fun but also exhausting! I had knee surgery in May to repair a calcified tendon and thought I would be fine because I was back to playing volleyball and softball, however, much more carefully than before. It turned out that I underestimated how hard the hike was, but by the time I was completely worn out, I was so close to the end that I refused to quit. And then close to the top, I saw another hiker that had only one leg and was on crutches, so I decided I had no excuse at all to not finish!

While visiting my sister in Ohio, I had a chance to visit a little park that I’ve been wanting to see for a long time! Sure, wasn’t much green, but it was still so pretty!

And of course the holidays were spent with family! A new niece and new nephew added such fun and happiness for all of us! I also got to go to the Opryland Hotel. If you have no idea what that is, its a 5 star resort in Nashville that has three massive gardens inside. I’m talking actual palm trees growing inside a building! Its beautiful any time of year and at Christmas they go all out. The hotel is open for the public to walk around in and it never seems to get old walking around there!

Happy New Year everyone! Here’s to a wonderful 2026!
